The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2022, signed into law by President Biden on March 15, adjusts the cost-share for all disasters between January 2020 to December 2021 to 90% federal cost share, unless designated higher by FEMA. This change offers significant financial relief and will require working with FEMA to ensure entities in impacted areas get all they are entitled to receive.
